SNAs play a key role in creating calm, supportive learning environments. This further learning will help you better understand the reasons behind behaviour, support emotional and sensory regulation and build positive, growth-focused relationships with pupils.
Blending neuroscience, practical classroom strategies and reflective practice, it equips you with tools you can use straight away — while also looking after your own wellbeing and sustainability in the role.
Both the online and in-person options cover the same content and learning outcomes. An SNA resource pack is included with every booking.
How the nervous system drives behaviour — the window of tolerance, hyper arousal and hypo arousal, and why that changes how you respond.
The three stages of emotional regulation and practical co-regulation strategies your team can use in the classroom tomorrow.
The downstairs brain vs. upstairs brain — and how your breath, body and movement act as the ladder between the two.
The iceberg model, the four threats to the nervous system and Bruce Perry's regulate > relate > reason approach.
The power of "yet" and how the language you use shapes how children see themselves.
All eight senses in depth — with practical, classroom-ready strategies that don't require specialist equipment.
Give your team practical tools they can bring into the classroom tomorrow with learning that's grounded and genuinely useful.
