Barretstown

We support and volunteer at Barretstown Camps, originally founded by actor Paul Newman and his wife, the first outside the US located near our homes in County Kildare, Ireland.

We strongly believe in the vision of Barretstown, that every child with serious illness should enjoy their childhood.

Barretstown offers free, specially designed camps and programmes for children and their families living with a serious illness – supported behind the scenes by 24 hour on site medical and nursing care.

All of the children and families go to Barretstown free of charge. Everything, including accommodation, food and medical assistance are provided at no cost to the family.
Barretstown is supported by donations and the fundraising efforts of corporate supporters, individuals and community groups.
Barretstown is recognised as a centre of excellence in childhood cancer care and other serious illnesses. Children are referred to Barretstown based on their medical needs.
Since they first opened their gates in 1994 they have brought the magic of Barretstown to over 120,000 campers.

As we champion childhood we have looked for ways to offer greater support to a wider community of children. We would love for you to support this worthy cause if you can.

Visit Barretstown.org for more information on how you can support in so many ways, through donations, volunteering, sponsoring a tree in the Enchanted Forest and many more.
